Preparation of meals in steps.

To prepare this delicious and fragrant apple pie, we need the following ingredients: wheat flour (I have the highest grade, but it’s the first one), butter (at least 72% fat), apples, pitted raisins, medium-sized chicken egg (45- 50 grams in the shell), sugar and vanilla sugar (can be replaced with vanillin), cinnamon powder, milk of any fat content (I use 2.5%), potato starch and salt.

The first step is to prepare a dough for the future of the apple apple pie. In a separate bowl, mix 350 grams of wheat flour with 1.5 teaspoons of baking powder and a pinch of salt.

All mixed, then sift through a sieve.

Mix the short pastry with your hands or with the help of a food processor (nozzle metal knife). We put in a bowl 100 grams of soft (beforehand get out of the refrigerator) butter. Add 80 grams of sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar (you can replace a generous pinch of vanillin). Immediately I’ll show you that the dough turns out to be pretty sweet, so if you want, you can reduce the amount of sugar.

We beat the sugar and butter for a few minutes, so that the sweet crystals almost completely dissolved. Next, we put one chicken egg and pour a couple of tablespoons of milk at room temperature. We beat the products until a smooth and homogeneous mass appears, which resembles an airy oil cream, only slightly liquid.

It remains to add a dry flour mix to the bowl.

We combine dry and fat components before obtaining a homogeneous sand dough. For a long time do not mix — once the ball is assembled, the device switches off. Or, even better, use the pulsating mode. If the dough is still too wet and sticky, pour in the flour. Too dry with a little milk.

Short pastry for the apple apple pie is quite soft, but not sticky. It perfectly keeps the form.

Visually or using kitchen scales divide the dough into two unequal parts: 1/4 and 3/4.

We take a demountable form for baking — I advise you to choose a volume of no more than 18-20 centimeters (in my case, just 18 centimeters, as I like high pies). Undoubtedly, shapes and larger diameters will suit perfectly, but then the pie will be lower. The bottom of the form I recommend to lather with parchment paper. We put most of the test into the mold.

Uniform layer make the bottom and high sides. Just tightly press the short pastry with your fingers. While we send the workpiece to the refrigerator, and at this time we will turn on the oven to heat 180 degrees. A small part of the dough is put in a bag or wrapped in a food film and also put in the cold.

Let’s make an ornament for the pie. We take from the refrigerator the very small piece of dough, we spray the working surface with a small amount of wheat flour. Skalki roll the dough into a layer, not more than 3 millimeters thick.

With the help of a glass or a glass we cut out mugs from the dough — the size can be completely different. Cut the dough again in a ball, roll out and make circles. Excess test will not be — everything will go to the decoration.

It’s time to get a form from the refrigerator with a chilled sand test. We shift the apple stuffing into it and spread it with a spoon or spatula.
