Roll with a poppy filling — pleasant memories of childhood! Easy yeast rolls. The set of ingredients is designed for 2 rolls.

Preparation: 2 hours and 30 minutes
Recipe for: 6 people

Basic:

flour — 1 kg
milk — 250 ml
dry yeast — 11 g
margarine — 150 g
eggs of chicken — 2 pcs.
refined vegetable oil — 50 ml
sugar — 6 tbsp. l.
salt — 3 g
vanillin — 1 g
ready poppy filling — 500 g

Prepare the spoon: in 50 ml of warm milk, add 1 tbsp. l. sugar, yeast and mix to a homogeneous consistency. We pour the spoon of flour, stirring constantly, to get a consistency of liquid sour cream without lumps.

Cover with a linen napkin and put in a warm place for a proofing before increasing in volume in half and forming a «bubble cap.» Preparing the baking. The remaining milk, sugar, margarine (or oil), according to the recipe, put in a small bowl and put on a slow fire until the sugar and margarine dissolve (should not boil!). In the sifted flour, add vanillin, salt and eggs.

We knead the dough: into the sifted flour with vanillin, salt and eggs, pour in the approached spit and baking. Add in the dough 3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil. After kneading the dough should turn out soft and do not stick to your hands. We cover the dough and put it in a warm place to fit.

After the dough is doubled in volume, it must be kneaded (lowered).

The finished dough is divided in half. Each «kolobochek» (slice) of the dough is crushed and stretched on a table, greased with vegetable oil, hands (not with a rolling pin!). The thickness should be about 1 cm. Then take the poppy filling. I’m using ready-made poppy stuffing. This greatly simplifies and speeds up the process of making rolls.

Finished filling in form resembles a small «sausage». Make a small incision (about 1-1.5 cm) at the base of the poppy «sausage» and squeeze out of it a poppy filling immediately on the prepared dough. The amount of filling is about half the «sausage» per one roll.

Using a silicone spatula (or knife, spoon), evenly spread the filling over the dough. Collapse the roll, tightly pressing the dough.

We cover the baking tray with baking paper and lubricate with vegetable oil. On it we spread our roll. We also cover the roll with paper and put it in a warm place for 20 minutes, so that it rises. After the roll has risen, grease it with whipped yolk and sprinkle with dry poppy (I use a dry poppy). We send it to the oven preheated to 180 ° C for 30-40 minutes.

We take the roll from the oven and let it cool.
Cooled roll cut into slices, put on a dish and enjoy the pleasant aroma of poppy and vanilla! Bon Appetit!
