Cooking method:
1 Peel the apples, cut the seed pods, chop the fruit into small pieces. Put them in a saucepan with the sugar, juice and finely chopped lemon peel, pour a little water. Put on the stove and stir, bring to a boil until the sugar is completely dissolved. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until apples are soft (about 10 minutes).
