For classic mulled wine, it is best to use red wine. White and pink wines are too vinegar, they will make the drink very sour. Well, I also do not advise you to use sweet wine — then mulled wine will turn out very sweet.

When preparing mulled wine, do not cook it. Better do not bring it to a boil, otherwise all alcohol will evaporate. If you want the drink to turn out to be rich and spicy, mix the ingredients and let the mulled wine pour for half an hour — the aromas of fruits and spices are mixed in wine and something incredible will turn out.

In any recipe for mulled wine, there must necessarily be spices — cinnamon, cloves. The rest add to taste. In my own, for example, I use even raisins — it gives the drink an unusual flavor and taste.

If you do not drink alcohol, replace the wine with juice. Cherry, grape, pomegranate, apple, plum — it is suitable for anyone, most importantly — take the one with the least sugar.

Ingredients:

Wine (red, dry) — 750 ml;
Cinnamon — 2 sticks;
Carnation — 4 pcs.;
Ginger (ginger root (slice)) — 2 cm;
Orange — 4-5 pcs.;
Raisins (without pits) — 2 tablespoons;
Sugar — 1 tbsp.;
Apple — 4 lobules;
Pepper (sweet pepper peas) — 1 pc.;
Cardamom (pods) — 3 pcs.

Wash the oranges. Remove the zest from them and squeeze out the juice. Cut the root of ginger. Rinse the raisins.
Pour a glass of water into the saucepan, dilute the sugar in it. Add spices (cinnamon, cloves, ginger, pepper and cardamom), zest and raisins and place on fire. Cook for about five minutes.

Pour orange juice, wine, into the saucepan, add the apples and keep the mixture on fire until the mulled wine becomes hot (steam will flow from it).

Remove from heat, cover and leave to stand for half an hour.
Before serving warm the mulled wine and strain.

Chocolate Martini Light.

This festive martini was invented specially for sweeties — they can replace dessert. However, we take skim milk instead of cream, we exclude all the high-calorie additives — sugar, wafers and the like, and into caramel syrup we just dip the edge of the glass.

This cocktail is useful when in the middle of summer autumn suddenly comes again. One cocktail contains 227 kcal

Ingredients:

Liqueur (chocolate liqueur godiva) — 30 ml;
Vodka — 30 ml;
Milk (non-fat) — 100 ml;
Syrup (hershey’s lite) — 1 tsp.

Chocolate liqueur, vodka and milk shake in a shaker with crushed ice.
Pour the cocktail into the glass.
Use Hershey’s syrup to make a sweet edge.

Hot chocolate with wine.

Ingredients:

Milk — 1 glass;
Chocolate (grated) — 4 tablespoons;
Wine (red) — 1/2 cup.

Put a small saucepan on medium heat. Pour the milk into it and add the chocolate.
Stir gently until the chocolate is completely melted.

Pour the milk chocolate mixture into a mug and add the wine. Stir. If desired, decorate with whipped cream or marshmallow and grated chocolate.
