Want to impress your friends? Pears in chocolate sauce. Prepare an unusual dessert. Juicy pears in chocolate sauce … with a subtle mint flavor, mascarpone cheese and walnut — that’s it.

You will need:

4 large pears;
100g mascarpone cheese or cream cheese;
30 g of refined hazelnut;
2 tablespoons honey;
2 egg yolks;
¼ tsp crushed cardamom seeds.

For the chocolate sauce:

100 g of chocolate,
Butter — 2 tablespoons,
2 tablespoons brandy or cognac,
Sour cream — 2 tablespoons,
mint for decoration.


Preheat the oven to 180C.
Pears Wash, pat dry with a paper towel, peel and cut in half lengthwise.

Carefully remove the core and a teaspoon select pulp, forming a groove.
The flesh is very finely chop with a knife or grind in a blender and gently squeeze the excess juice.

Hazelnut kernels mince or chop in a blender.
Good pound mascarpone cheese.

Add the ground hazelnuts, honey, egg yolks, cardamom and pear pulp.
Stuff the resulting mixture of pears and place them in a baking dish.

Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Prepare the chocolate sauce.
In a small saucepan, melt over low heat, stirring constantly, chocolate and butter.

Add sour cream and brandy or cognac. Cook for another 3-5 minutes. Mint Wash. Pears out onto a plate, pour the chocolate sauce and garnish with mint.
