I was very intrigued by the Mexican cuisine, and among all the delicious Mexican street food names I chose tacos based on fresh tortillas — tortillas.

For the tortillas:

Wheat flour — 300 g
Butter — 50 g
Warm water — 150 ml.
Salt — ¼ tsp

For filling:

Minced beef — 500 g
Vegetable oil for frying
Cinnamon — ½ tsp
Beans, canned or boiled — 200 g
Onions — 1 head
Tomatoes — 3 pieces.
Cucumbers — 3 pieces.
Parsley — 1 bunch
Pepper peppers — 1 pc.

In Mexico, for there is a special flour tortillas Masa Harina, it has a special treatment and a special grinding. According to official statistics, on average, every resident of Mexico eats every year at least 60 kg of tortillas.
But the majority of Mexicans do not bake them at home, and buy ready-made. So let us experience a great deal of pride and responsibility for what took up this process voluntarily.

Sift the flour into a bowl, add salt and cut into slices of butter. Rub hands butter and flour in a small crumb. Then, add warm water and knead the dough. Divide it into 6-7 balls, cover with a towel or cling film and leave it to «rest» for 30 minutes, while it is possible to do stuffing.

Divide the onion in half, one part of the quarter cut rings for frying meat, the second small cubes of vegetable salsa.

Minced fry in vegetable oil with half an onion until tender, add cinnamon if desired.

Finely chop the tomatoes, cucumbers, parsley, add the remaining onions. For sharpness can cut to the chili. Stir vegetable mixture and season with salt to taste. If you take canned beans — drain the fluid.

When you’re done, you can enjoy cakes again. The surface on which will roll out the dough, sprinkle with flour. Roll out each ball to 2 mm thickness. To round was more even, you can trim the edges on a plate.

Heat a dry frying pan over medium heat. Lay out tortillas one by one. They will swell a little at this point, you can pierce them with a fork.
