This is a dish of Georgian cuisine, it is called — CHASHUSHULI, which means «spicy» in translation. My network friend opened it for me, thanks to her for that. But of course, we can adjust the severity to your liking. In my own way, I slightly changed the proportions of spices, I put more hops-suneli, and dry adjika — less, and the recipe was the opposite. And you do according to your taste and preferences.


Beef — 600 grams;
Tomatoes — 3 pcs. large;
Onion — 2 pcs;
Bulgarian pepper — 1 pc.;
Vegetable oil — 3 tbsp;
Garlic — 3 cloves;
Cilantro greens — 0.5 bunches;
Suneli hops — 1 tsp;
Adjika dry -0.5 tsp;
Red pepper — to taste.

Step by step recipe

Cut the meat into small pieces. Onions — straws.

Mix meat with onions, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and mash thoroughly. Sprinkle with a portion of spices and pepper. Leave the meat for half an hour or more.

In a cauldron or thick-walled pan, heat the vegetable oil. Put the meat with onions and lightly fry.

At this time, chop the bell pepper, garlic and herbs. We will need them a little later.

Once the excess liquid has evaporated from the meat, add chopped garlic and mix well. To salt. Fry for 5 minutes.

Add the tomatoes to the meat, add a little more salt, cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for 35-40 minutes.

After 40 minutes, add chopped bell pepper, a second portion of spices and herbs to the meat. Simmer for another 5-7 minutes.
